O Prêmio Eisner, considerado por muitos como o equivalente ao Oscar para os quadrinhos, divulgou nesta quarta-feira (9) a lista de indicados à edição de 2021. Entre as publicações de destaque presentes na premiação estão Gideon Falls, do autor de Sweet Tooth, Jeff Lemire, e Andrea Sorrentino; Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, de Matt Fraction e Steve Lieber e, novamente, o Demolidor de Chip Zdarsky e Marco Checchetto.
Quem também repete o que fez bonito em 2020 é a Image Comics, emplacando 32 indicações e figurando em categorias de destaque como Melhor Edição Única, Melhor Série Contínua, Melhor Série Limitada, Melhor Nova Série, entre outras. Na categoria de Melhor Roteirista, a editora aparece em todas as indicações, tendo trabalhado com Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, Jeff Lemire, James Tynion IV e Chip Zdarsky ao longo do último ano.
