O diretor Edgar Wright revelou no Twitter que fez aposta com o ator e roteirista Kumail Nanjiani sobre a indicação da comédia Doentes de Amor ao Oscar 2018. Confira:

And also I told @kumailn that he and @emilyvgordon would get a best screenplay nomination and that if I was right, he had to eat a bowl of brussel sprouts.

"Também falei para Kumail que ele e Emily V. Gordon seriam indicados a melhor roteiro e que se eu estivesse certo, ele teria que comer uma tigela de couve-de-bruxelas", escreveu o diretor.
