A edição 2016 do Eisner Awards, o principal prêmio da indústria de quadrinhos dos EUA, anunciou nesta sexta, em San Diego, seus ganhadores.
Destaque para a Image Comics, que ganhou os três prêmios principais, Melhor Série com Southern Bastards, Melhor Minissérie, com The Fade Out e Melhor série estreante, com Paper Girls.
Os brasileiros Fábio Moon e Gabriel Bá ganharam mais um Eisner (o quarto de cada um!), pela adaptação de Dois Irmãos, publicada nos Estados Unidos pela Dark Horse.
A noite foi marcada pela presença constante de mulheres subindo no palco para receber prêmios pelo seu trabalho recente ou pelo conjunto de sua obra, caso de Lynda Berry, descrita por Matt Groening (criador dos Simpsons) como uma "força da natureza".
