Produtor de Homem-Aranha no Aranhaverso e Homem-Aranha: Através do Aranhaverso, Christopher Miller declarou no sábado (1°) que a franquia de animação nunca usará imagens geradas por inteligência artificial. Miller fez o comentário no X, o antigo Twitter, após um seguidor escrever um pedido para que as produções jamais utilizem a ferramenta.
"Não há IA generativa em Beyond the Spider-Verse [próximo filme da série] e nunca haverá", disse o produtor na rede social. "Uma das metas dos filmes é de criar novos estilos visuais que nunca foram vistos em um filme de estúdio feito em CG, não o de roubar a média genérica e plagiada do trabalho de outros artistas."

Lançado em junho deste ano, Homem-Aranha: Através do Aranhaverso ultrapassou a marca de US$690 milhões de bilheteria. Já o terceiro filme da franquia, intitulado Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (Além do Aranhaverso, em tradução livre), tinha estreia marcada para março de 2024, mas foi adiado por causa das greves em Hollywood. Uma nova data ainda não foi anunciada.
